PURPOSE:To use a display means for the display of both the reproducing level and the reproducing time, by carrying out the switching between a level detecting signal and a reproducing time signal of a reproduced signal through a switching circuit and then applying them to a display means. CONSTITUTION:A reproducing circuit 1' reproduces the recording signal which is recorded on a magnetic tape, etc. A level detecting circuit 2' detects the level of a reproduced signal which is delivered from the circuit 1'. A reproducing time detecting circuit 3' detects the time elapsed for a reproducing action following the reproducing action of the circuit 1'. A switching circuit 6 performs the selective switching between the detecting signals of the circuits 2' and 3' and has a display corresponding to a display means 7. The symbols such as LEVEL, L, R, -40-0, dB, etc. are given to the display panel part of the means 7 by means of the light emitting element, etc. which glows when the reproducing level is displayed. While such symbols as min, Time, 0-60, etc. are shown by the glowing light emitting element in case the reproducing time is displayed. Furthermore the light emitting elements arranged in a bar graph glow successsively from the left side for display of both reproducing level and reproducing time. |
