PURPOSE:To reduce the number of load modules to one, by providing an instruction converting means in a loader which reads out a program to be executed and converting instructions, which are not permitted in a processing device for executing the program, to executable instructions. CONSTITUTION:A program loader 2-5 is connected between new and old computers 2-6 and 2-7 and an external storage deice 2-4, and this loader 2-5 is provided with an instruction converting means 2-5a. A lease program 2-1 is connected to the external storage device 2-4 through a linkage editor 2-3 to constitute an instruction simulating system. When a program is read out from the external storage device 2-4 by the loader 2-5 and is processed in the old computer 2-7, control information 2-2 is utilized to convert this program to a program, which can be processed in the old computer 2-7, in the instruction converting means 2-5a provided in the loader 205. Thus, the number of load modules of the external storage device 2-4 is reduced to one. |
