Continuous cycle system for cross-linking surface coating agents by means of electron beams, which has a series of chambers, which circulate along a conveyor path, for receiving the surface-coated objects. In order to achieve a continuous working process and in order to save nitrogen which is to be fed into the chambers, the chambers are formed from upwardly open containers which are closed off, at least in front of a radiation station, by means of a continuous belt or a roller bed which runs synchronously with the containers.
