Device for the load-related control of the brake pressure on the axles of a double axle unit of commercial vehicles by means of a pressure control valve which can be controlled by way of a transmitting rod pivoted on both axles and a control rod pivoted on this, the transmitting rod being free to rotate on both axles and held so that it can also slide in a longitudinal direction at least on one axle and has an offset lying between the axles, on which the control rod is pivoted by one end, and a guide rod acting on the end of the transmitting rod lying in front of or behind the offset, the other end of which guide rod is connected by a control arm to one of the two axles and by way of which the transmitting rod is rotated about its longitudinal axis as a function of the position of the axles, as a result of which the control rod is displaced in a longitudinal direction thereby causing an adjustment in the sense of increasing or reducing the pressure.
