The baking oven can be closed tightly by a door and has a vapour take-off opening in the upper muffle region. To regulate the vapour take-off, i.e. the air throughput in the oven muffle, use is made of an incoming-air opening, the flow cross-section of which can be modified by a closure member. <IMAGE>
