<p>PURPOSE:To perform a correct read even if a sheet is moved obliquely, by providing a means which delays the position of read mark data, which is detected in accordance with the extent of oblique movement of the sheet, so as to match this position with the mark of a timing signal. CONSTITUTION:Mark data and timing marks in respective lines of the sheet are detected by corresponding reading elements and are amplified by amplifiers 111-11n and are shaped to pulses by a waveform shaping circuit 12. This pulse output is inputted to an oblique movement detecting circuit 13, and the extent of oblique movement of the sheet is detected on a basis of mark data of the highest line and the lowest line, and simultaneously, the direction of oblique movement is discriminated. Data of the quantity of delay for the extent of oblique movement of each line is stored in an each line delay quantity generating circuit 14, and the quantity of delay of each line given from the circuit 13 is read out. In a read data delay circuit 15, a corresponding quantity of delay is given to read data of each line from the circuit 12 to match the detection pulse of each line to the timing mark, and thus, mark data has the same relational position as normal time.</p> |
