PURPOSE:To ensure an effective protection of a magnetic tape, by providing a means that detects whether or not a magnetic tape is drawn out of a small- sized cassette stored in an adaptor, and at the same time, inhibits the shift of the cassette. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized cassette 7 is put into a cassette adaptor 13, and a loading lever 16 is moved toward an arrow 17. Then levers 18 and 19 turn centering on fulcrums 18a and 19a, and a magnetic tape 30 is guided by draw- out guides 14 and 15 and drawn out to a prescribed position. A lock lever 31 fixes the shift of the lever 16 at two areas. When the projected part 38 of the lever 16 gets out of the position of a groove part 39 of a cover 35, the load/ unload is locked. When the tape 30 is set back to its original position, a rack gear 45 turns a gear 42a. The sag of the tape 30 is eliminated by a reel 11a and via idlers 42, 40 and 41. Meanwhile the shift of the cassette 7 is locked to protect the tape 30. |
