Drive unit for a motor vehicle with an internal combustion engine and an externally excited direct current generator which is driven thereby and at least one externally excited direct current motor which is fed thereby and with a randomly actuable actuation element which is connected to the setting element of the internal combustion engine and a set-point value generator for the speed, from which a signal is transmitted to an electrical control device for the field excitation of the direct current generator, this electrical control device being fed with a signal for the output rpm of the direct current motor and, furthermore, a signal transmitter being provided for the rpm of the internal combustion engine, the signal of which transmitter is fed to a comparison element to which the signal of the set-point value generator for the speed is also fed, the signal which is output by the comparison element also being fed to the control device. |
