PURPOSE:To perform the output adjustment of a corona discharger accurately and easily in a short time, by discharging the corona discharger to a conductive film and measuring a current flowing through a photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:When a corona current is adjusted, a rewinding motor 15 or take-up motor 16 is put in operation to expose aluminum foil to be wound or having been wound on a drum surface, and a slip contact 19 is connected to an ammeter 21 through a changeover switch 20. Then, a voltage is applied from a high-voltage power source to the corona discharger to transfer charges to an aluminum foil surface and the high-voltage power source is adjusted while looking at the ammeter 21 to obtain a prescribed corona discharging current. This adjustment is made for every corona discharger for transfer, separation, discharging, etc. Since the drum 11 wound with the photosensitive film 12 is insulated from a frame, the current of the slip contact connected electrically to the drum 11 is measured by the ammeter 21 connected between the contact and ground to measure the corona discharging current flowing from the discharger to the aluminum foil surface. |
