In this heating boiler, the water jacket surrounding the combustion chamber is equipped with heat-insulating coatings. In the combustion chamber and in the wall of the combustion chamber, very high temperatures are produced in order to achieve an optimum degree of efficiency of the fuels and to avoid flue gas condensation in the combustion chamber. Furthermore, as a result of the heat-insulating coating of the inner wall of the water jacket, heat transmission from the combustion chamber to the heat transfer medium in the water jacket is reduced in such a manner that the required temperatures are adjustable for low-temperature heating installations and the radiating losses in heating boilers of this type can be reduced considerably. <IMAGE>
