Chimney for carrying away flue gases

In a chimney for flue gases, in which a fall below the dew point and hence a formation of condensation take place, air cells running along the chamotte pipe of the chimney are provided. These air cells possess an air inlet opening in the heating space and an air outlet opening on the chimney crown. Condensation which penetrates to the outside of the chamotte pipe is carried away out of the chimney by the warm air flowing through the air cells.
