The invention relates to an exhaust valve for engines with a high load capacity, in particular for heavy-oil engines, with good metallic heat conduction. In the region of the valve cone, the valve has two zones composed of different metal alloys and only the disc base is formed by an alloy of high corrosion resistance, the transition between the two alloys representing a homogeneous metallic joint.
