The subject matter of this supplementary application is further examples of application which explain the purpose for which the released molecular forces can be applied and the manner in which they can be applied. By their nature, these molecular forces only act over short distances. The object of the invention is therefore to apply and translate the virtually unlimited molecular forces in such a way that - depending on requirement - they come into effect over long working distances. This can be done, for example, by transmitting the forces from a drive element to pressure cylinders (pressure elements) of very much larger diameter which in turn put a liquid, in particular water or oil, under extreme compressive stress. This liquid is fed at its high pressure into supply tanks for utilisation at any time. Thus machines, e.g. water turbines for generating current, can be operated with a powerful output. The pressure liquid can be converted into vapour of corresponding pressure, and this vapour can serve to actuate machines, e.g. steam turbines. Another example of application relates to tunnelling. Here, too, it is necessary, in order to protect the tunnel charges driven into the rock from collapse, to insert supporting elements of high bearing capacity and to exert an opposing stress with them. Thus the original equilibrium of the rock masses which was destroyed by the forcing-open of the tunnel is restored. Specially designed rock anchors are also used for this purpose. <IMAGE>
