<p>PURPOSE:To improve performance for detecting a far distance target, by applying no waiting at the time of far distance receiving, applying it only at the time of near distance receiving, and receiving a pulse. CONSTITUTION:In case of receiving a far distance target, an absolute level of a signal is low, a side lobe becomes a noise level or below, and a weight function filter 6a of a pulse compressing circuit 6 is biased. This switching operation is executed by generating a timing trigger at time which has been delayed from transmission by a time corresponding to a distance in which the side lobe becomes no problem, after a transmitting signal has been generated by a signal generator 4, and operating a switching device 6c in each sweeping time of an indicator 8, and at every sweep, a signal which does not pass through the filter 6a after the timing trigger is selected and is displayed by the indicator 8.</p> |
