PURPOSE:To obtain a high alignment accuracy over a wide operation range by installing, in an internal combustion engine, an interlocking apparatus for the throttle valves of a pair of carburetors which are arranged so that the center lines of the intake passages of the throttle valve parts are set in the twisted relation each other. CONSTITUTION:A pair of carburetors 1 and 2 are equipped with intake passages 3 and 4 respectively, in which throttle valves 7 and 20 are supported so as to be turned together with corresponding rotary shafts 8 and 21 respectively. The carburetors 1 and 2 are arranged so that the center line 5 of the throttle valve 7 part and the center line of the throttle valve 20 part are set in the twisted relation each other. Pivotal supporting parts 23 and 24 are pivotally connected to each other by a rigid link 25. Therefore, the necessity of setting the opening of the throttle valves 7 and 20 in no-load operation for each carburetor and the necessity of adjusting the alignment for each carburetor can be eliminated. |
