PURPOSE:To prevent a twisted yarn, rod or the like from twisting, by securing, to a twisted yarn such as, for example, a rope, a round rod or the like, a sleeve having a diameter slightly larger than that thereof with a coiled wire intervening therebetween, and by providing a cap nut so that the nut may be engaged at its bottom to the rear wall part of the sleeve and is freely rotatable. CONSTITUTION:A round rod 1 is inserted through a through-hole 4b having a diamete larger than that of the rod 1, in a cap nut 4, then is inserted through a through-hole 8a in a die 11, and is further inserted into a coiled wire 5 having a slightly larger than that thereof. Then, a sleeve deformation preventing guide 9 is fitted into the sleeve 2. A punch part 10b in press device 10 such as, for example, a hydraulic cylinder is abutted to the end face of the sleeve 2 for pressing the latter, so that the rear wall part 2a of the sleeve is squeezed with the use of a die 8. The die 8 is further advanced from the rear wall part 8, so that the round rod 1, the sleeve 2 and the coiled wire 3 are sequentially secured, thereby they are integrally incorporated together. Then, the secured item is pushed out from the die 8 due to the further advance of the punch part 10b, and a hook is threadedly engaged to the cap nut 4. Thus, the sleeve 2 is freely rotatable in the cap nut 4, thereby twisting load due to the rotation of a cargo is not applied to the rod. |
