PURPOSE:To enable visual checking of the remaining time of a timer, by making the remaining time of the timer correspond to the amount of operation of a second hand. CONSTITUTION:A timer time is set in a setting counter 11 by the operation of a switch 10. The output of the counter 11 is stored by a latch circuit 12. The coincidence of a fast-forwarding counter 14 forwarding fast a motor unit with the latch circuit 12 is detected 14, and a motor 5 is driven to forward fast a second hand intermittently in an operation amount corresponding to the content stored in the latch circuit 12. Since the content of the setting counter 11 decreases with passage of time, the amount of fast-forwarding steps of the second hand is also decreases with passage of time. |
