PURPOSE:To obtain durability, a load resistance and high lubrication by using both silver and lead as a solid lubricant in a vacuum rolling bearing in which a soft metal coating is applied on the rolling contact surface as a solid lubricant. CONSTITUTION:With regard to rolling elements 3 composed of steel balls or the like present between an inner and outer ring 1, 2, a silver coating film 4 is applied on the surface of some of said rolling elements 3 and a lead coating film 5 is applied on the other rolling elements 3 and both elements 3 are disposed alternately. The rate is determined due to the vacuum atmosphere to be used or an X-ray device, while the silver coating, which is excellent in a heat resistance, durability and a load resistance, and the lead coating, which is excellent in lubrication and lowers the bearing torque, are combined efficiently. Accordingly, the combination due to the use can give appropriate durability, load resistance and lubrication. Further, thesilver coating film may be applied on either one of the track surfaces of said inner and outer ring 1a, 2a and the lead coating film 5, on the other one. |
