PURPOSE:To provide the titled recording sheet excellent in preservation stability of a colored image part, resistance to powering at the colored image part due to recrystallization with time and the like, by using a specified oxybenzoate as a sensitizer jointly with a dye precurser and a color developer. CONSTITUTION:In a heat-sensitive recording sheet comprising a colorless or light-colored dye precurser (e.g., crystal violet lactone) and a color developer for developing the color of the dye precurser by reacting therewith when being heated (e.g., 4,4'-isopropylidenediphenol), a compound of the formula (wherein R1 is acetyl, benzoyl; R2 is methyl, ethyl, benzyl, phenyl) (e.g., benzyl p-benzoyloxybenzoate) is used as a sensitizer. |
