<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the malfunctioning of a device for driving an automobile at a fixed speed, by providing a stopper for a plunger, which is moved in connection with the operation of an accelerator pedal, and by tripping the stopper together with the action of a brake wire. CONSTITUTION:When an accelerator pedal is depressed, a plunger 1 is moved up by a spring 3. If a manual operating unit 11 is shifted upwards at that time, a driving plate 25 is moved up by a pin 24 to turn a plunger stopper 9 clockwise around a shaft 10 to stop the plunger 1 in pressure contact with an anti-slip member 34. When a brake wire 16 is pulled, the driving plate 25 is moved down through a tripper 12 to turn the plunger stopper 9 anticlockwise to release the plunger 1. According to this constitution, a reliable device which functions to drive an automobile at a fixed speed and is not affected by noises is provided.</p> |
