PURPOSE:To provide the subject system in which a distance between adjacent trains of pin wires aligned in a plurality of trains is set to a size except that which is an integral number times as long as a distance between dots being printed, the number of electromagnets simultaneously energized reduces sharply, and an interference between the electromagnets reduces. CONSTITUTION:A distance P between pin wire trains L1 and L2 is set to a size except that which is an integral number times as long as a distance (p) between dot trains, and the wire pins L1 and L2 are normally kept from being simultaneously present on trains l1-l5, being printed, on a recording medium. The wire pins in the two trains L1 and L2 may be alternately driven, and when driven alternately, the drive signal of the wire p in the train L1 is prevented from overlappig with that of the wire pin in the train L2. An effective current and a peak current of a power source reduce. |
