<p>PURPOSE:To improve operability and work efficiency by selecting one of displayed multiwindows so as to switch it to a single window and temporarily displaying the window in the greater part of a display screen. CONSTITUTION:A selector 16 selects window control information on a multiwindow managing table part 14 or on a single window conversion means 15 according to the specification of a processor 10, and can switch a multiwindow display or a single window display. According to a command from the processor 10, a multiwindow display controller 17 outputs multiwindow data based on actual data in a multiwindow data storage part 13 and managing information either in the multiwindow control table part 14 or in the single window conversion means 15. If an operator wants to see some enlarged picture under the multiwindow display environment, he can immediately switch it to the single display and can see the picture enlarged in the greater part of the screen.</p> |
