PURPOSE:To improve high speed performance of a steel radial tyre without hindrance to low internal pressure traveling on a bad road by specifying the depth of a tread groove, gauge below a groove, tread radius, the briggest radius of a tyre and a belt radius. CONSTITUTION:Specification is made so that the product of d/t and RT/R, that is the ratio of the depth (t) of a groove of a tread part 1 to gauge (d) below a groove and the ratio of a tread radius RT to the biggest radius R of a tyre respectively, is above 0.35 and RT/RB, the ratio of the tread radius RT to a belt radius RB, is within 1.13-1.20. Low internal pressure traveling durability is secured through such a specification of form coefficient d/t.RT/R of the tread part, while high speed durability can be improved through specification of the ratio RT/RB. |
