PURPOSE:To provide a skin cosmetic or making fair skin, e.g. beauty wash, cream, milky lotion, pack, etc., by using a compound such as sodium diethyldithiocarbamate, ammonium pyrrolidinedithiocarbamate, etc. as a component. CONSTITUTION:The objective skin-whitening cosmetic contains 0.01-1% compound of formula (R and R' are lower alkyl or together form lower alkylene; M is alkali metal or ammonium). The compound of formula is a colorless and odorless substance having high safety and easily soluble in water and alcohol. It is free from side effects undesirable to the human body, and suppresses the formation of melanin pigment causing the dark skin. |
