PURPOSE:To form a device to small size and decrease a jammed phenomenon, by providing an inverting mechanism, which selectively changes a forward feed and inversive feed of a sheet, in the branch part of a sheet feed in path and feed out path and conveying path fed with the sheet to said feed in path. CONSTITUTION:At copying, copying paper is fed from a paper feed unit 6 or 7 synchronously with rotation of a photosensitive drum 5 to said drum 5, after copying, fed into a fixing device 9 via a conveying path f. Then in case of page arrangement not necessary, the copying paper passes through conveying paths c, f and is discharged to a paper discharge part 16, while in case of page arrangement necessary, the paper is conveyed by selecting operation of a flapper 11 to a lower inverting part of the path c in an inverting mechanism 10 via a route d, after detection of a rear end of the paper, discharged to the part 16 under an inverted condition via a route d' by an inverting roller 14 through selection of a flapper 12. While at both side copying, the paper conveyed to the inverting part 10 is conveyed by a flapper 13 to a direction e or e'. |
