PURPOSE:To prevent an input clutch from being damaged due to burning, by giving warning to the driver of a vehicle when the accelerator pedal is depressed to a prescribed degree of opening of the throttle or above within a prescribed time after gear shifting from N position to D position or from N position to R position and the speed of the vehicle is lower than a prescribed level. CONSTITUTION:When the gearshift of an automatic transmission is changed from N position to D position or from N position to R position, a pulse signal is sent from a multivibrator 203 to a circuit B through a detection circuit 202 so that a pulse signal is sent from an AND circuit 500 to a circuit D through a vehicle speed detector 300 if the speed of a vehicle is lower than a prescribed level. When the degree of opening of the throttle has exceeded a prescribed level due to the rapid racing of the engine or the like, a pulse signal is sent from an AND circuit 600 to a warning circuit 400 through a throttle opening degree detector 100 to turn on and off a light emission diode 402 by a monostable multivibrator 401. This results in enabling the driver of the vehicle to prevent an input clutch from being damaged due to burning. |
