PURPOSE:To obtain an on-demand type ink jet head easy to assemble and disassemble by a structure wherein a nozzle plate and an upper cover combined in a body is fixed by screws to the head body. CONSTITUTION:The upper cover 12 used in combination as a nozzle plate has an L-section, covers the front and upper sections of a head body 11, and has the nozzle 13 on its front side. An electrical-mechanical converter 14 is attached to the upper side of the upper cover and fixed by screws to the head body through a packing member 15. Since an ink jet head is made up in such a manner, when dust etc. are mixed in the head, it is easy to decompose, clean, reassemble the head. |
