PURPOSE:To detect and recognize a fixed quantity position with simple constitution, by consituting a fixed quantity position detector in a device for handling continuous slip paper in such a manner that a switch utilized with the mutual relation between magnetic attraction and gravity is provided to the point end of a wire having a length to a fixed point. CONSTITUTION:In case of using continuous slip paper 8 placed in a corrugated cardboard box, a fixed quantity position detector 10 is placed on the paper 8 in the box and arranged to be held in the box even if the paper 8 is successively fed out. Under this condition, the paper 8 is fed out and decreased to a small quantity, if the paper 8 reaches a predetermined quantity (set by a length of signal wires 1, 2), the detector 10 itself comes to be suspended in the air. In this way, intensity of the gravity applied to the detector 10 itself increases larger than attractive force of a permanent magnet 5, and a conical metal plate 4 is separated from the magnet 5 and contacted with a metal plate 3, then an electric contact becomes a condition of current conduction, thus a fixed quantity point of the paper 8 can be detected. |
