PURPOSE:To obtain an inexpensive closed type welder by providing a fan and a radiator in a duct for communication between the upper and lower ventilation holes of the closed case of the welder, and allowing the air in the case to circulate through the duct. CONSTITUTION:A ventilation duct 4 is provided for communication between the upper and lower ventilation holes 2 and 3 of the closed case 1 wherein a transformer for welding, reactor, semiconductor element for control and rectification, cooling fin, etc., are installed. A fan motor 5 and the radiator 6 are provided in the duct 4 and the radiator 6 is filled with cooling water; when the motor 5 is put in operation, the air in the case 1 circulates through the duct 4 by the motor 5 and is cooled by the radiator 6, thereby cooling the parts installed in the case 1. Therefore, inexpensive constitution is obtained because it is unnecessary to increase the coil sectional area of said transformer and reactor, the capacity of the semiconductor element, and the mass of the cooling fin unnecessarily. |
