PURPOSE:To maintain the dust scraping effect during a long period of time by pressing a dust scraping tip against the belt surface through a support frame by a spring so that even if the tip is worn away, the tip is brought into close contact with the belt. CONSTITUTION:A rectangular hollow support frame 6 is disposed below a driving pulley 2 of a conveyer 1 in such a manner as to extend over the width of a belt 1'. Dust scraping tips 5 are respectively fixed through fitting plates 4 on both longitudinal ends of belt 1' the support frame 6. Each one end of tension springs 7 is hooked on both side ends of the support frame 6, the other end thereof being fastened on a side plate of a chute 8 with a pin 9, so as to bring each tip 5 into contact with the surface of the belt 1'. This results in that the support frame 6 is moved with the drive of the belt 1' until it is balanced with the spring 7. Thus, the tips are always brought into suitable contact with the surface of the belt 1' to remove dust efficiently. |
