PURPOSE:A fundamental cosmetic, make-up cosmetic, hair cosmetic, etc. having properties such as water retention characteristics, improvement of color and gloss of the skin, prevention of fine wrinkles, beautifying action, etc., containing an extract obtained from the fruit body of Ganoderma. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic containing 0.005-10wt% based on base of an extracted component from one or more fruit bodies of Ganoderma (e.g., a bracket fungus of the genus Fomes, Ganoderma neo-japonicum Imaz.). The extracted component has been applied for chronic diseases as a food or an internal medicine for a long time, and provides the skin with improved beautifying effect without irritating it when it is directly applied to the skin. The extraction is carried out by using water, ethanol, propylene glycol or their mixed solution. |
