PURPOSE:To prevent a work from damage, and to improve the productivity of a press device, by providing a slide cam made possible to engage with a blank holder by moving it laterally in the vicinity of the lower dead point, between a cushion pad and a pad. CONSTITUTION:In a press die, which is energized by a cushion pad 15 and is equipped with a pad 26 for mounting a work 28, a die 12 on a bolster 11 used for holding said work 28, and a blank holder 30, etc.; a slide cam 19 sliding laterally on a slide block 18 attached to the cushion pad 15 is provided. A punch 29 is lowered to press work the work 28, and when it attains the vicinity of the lower dead point, the slide cam is moved to the direction of an arrow D and then to the direction of an arrow A with the downward movement of the pad 26 to engage with the horizontal guiding surface 3 of the holder 30, thereby the rising of pad 26 with the upward movement of punch 29 is prevented, and then, the work 28 is prevented from damage. |
