PURPOSE:To execute copying at a high speed, by only consuming sensitized paper and electric energy, as to a copy having the same contrast as PPC, by using an ultraviolet transmittable cylindrical electrostatic recording body. CONSTITUTION:White light is irradiated to an original, and its reflected ray is made to pass through an ultraviolet transmitting cylindrical electrostatic recording body 9 formed by providing a conductive layer 11 on the inside circumference and the outside circumference of an endless film 10 whose both side end parts are held by a metallic link 25, and also a dielectric layer 12 on the inside circumferential side, and is irradiated to an optical semiconductor drum inscribed to its recording body, by which an electrostatic latent image is formed. A latent image pattern is transferred to said dielectric layer 12, and to a transferred image pattern, ultraviolet light shielding body particles stored in said recording body are made to adhere by Coulomb force. Onto the outside surface of said recording body 9 of the adhering pattern, diazo sensitized paper is made to tightly adhere, ultraviolet rays are irradiated from the inside of the recording body 9, and the diazo sensitized paper is developed. |
