The invention relates to a process for producing wood pulp having improved strength properties for the manufacture of paper and cardboard. The process according to the invention pursues the aim of making possible, by means of a higher temperature in the wood before and in the action zone, easier defibration and gentle removal of the fibres from the wood, without many short broken fibres being formed. According to the invention, this is to be achieved in such a way that this wood already has, in a substantial part thereof, a temperature of more than 40 DEG C even before the action zone in which the wood is then heated by the defibration process. |
