PURPOSE:To maintain a ship velocity without decreasing the rotating speed of a propeller by correcting the armature current limiting value of a motor in response to the angle of a rudder at the turning voyage time. CONSTITUTION:A velocity regulator 104 compares the output of a velocity setter 101 with the speed feedback value from a rotation detector 103 and outputs the set armature current value. An armature current regulator 106 compares the set armature value with the armature current feedback value from an armature current detector 105 and outputs a set field current value. A field current regulator 108 compares the set field current value with a field current feedback value from a field current detector 107, and regulates the field current supplied to a field coil 107a. An armature current limiting regulator 4 applies as the armature current limiting value the added value of the output of an armature current limiting setter 3 and the output in response to the angle of a rudder 1 to the regulator 104. |
