PURPOSE:To realize an effective use of an idle channel device and to ensure an efficient application of a channel device, by securing a dynamic switch for the connection between a channel device and an input/output device group. CONSTITUTION:A connection is carried out between channel devices by a start I/O (SIO) instruction given from a central processor 2 or the device end (DVE) signals supplied from input/output controllers 7-1, 7-2 and 7-3. In this case, if a request is given from the processor 2, CPU interface control parts 15-1-15-3 deliver a connection request signal to a connection control part 8 requesting for an allotment of a physical channel to a logical channel. In the case of a connection request given from the input/output device, I/O interface control parts 16-1- 16- 3 transmits a connection request signal to the part 8. |
