PURPOSE:To make small temperature distribution in a cell by connecting a heat exchanger which makes self-exchange heat of a medium flowing in a heat exchange pipe with that of a medium flowing out from the heat exchange pipe which exchanges heat between a temperature regulating plate and this pipe. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchange pipe 5 is arranged in a temperature regulating plate having a reaction gas path on each opposite side, and heat is exchanged between the tempeature regulating plate and the pipe 5. An inlet and an outlet of the heat exchange pipe 5 are connected to a heat exchanger 11. The heat exchanger 11 is formed in a double pipe consruction, and connected to an outer circulation system with a connecting pipe 5a, and heat of a medium flowing in the pipe 5 is self exchanged with that of medium flowing out from the pipe 5. Since a circurating medium is preheated by steam produced, the temperature of the medium in the heat exchanger pipe 5 is kept constant. Therefore, temperature distribution in a fuel cell makes small and electric conversion efficiency is increased. |
