PURPOSE:To enable an accurate and efficient homing of a target by steering a travelling object determining the direction of the target with the measurement of the number of waves received during the travelling. CONSTITUTION:Wave receivers 2-1 amd 2-3 and 2-2 and 2-4 are arranged for vertical rudders 4-1 and 4-3 and horizontal rudders 4-2 and 4-4 of a travelling body 1 in such a manner as to be vertical to each rudder and parallel with the axis of the travelling body. The number of waves of output signals from the wave receivers is measured and compared with a circuit 3 for measuring and comparing the number of waves and the vertical and horizontal rudders are operated in such a direction that the difference between measured values become zero. This equivalent to the installation of a verty sharp wave receiver with a radiant surface thtereby enabling an accurate and efficient homing of a target. |
