PURPOSE:To facilitate maintenance, by providing a supply trough and a measuring part on a frame as a unitary body, providing a conveyer which conveyes articles in front thereof, so that the height of the measuring part is constant and packing mechanisms having different heights can be used. CONSTITUTION:The supply trough 1 and the measuring part 2 are incorporated into the frame 3 as a unitary body at the required height. Linear articles are automatically measured by a subhopper 7, a pool hopper 16, measuring hopper to which an adjusted quantity is supplied through a subtrough, and the like in said measuring part, and supplied to a bucket. The bucket is conveyed by the article conveying conveyer, which is provided in front of the frame 3 and formed by a conveyer frame 29 whose height is determined in correspondence with the packing mechanism, a collecting hopper 30, and the like. In this constitution, the height of the measuring part can be made constant,the packing mechanisms having the different height can be used, and the maintenance and inspections of the measuring hoppers and the like are facilitated. |
