PURPOSE:To attain band compression without changing the existing television scanning system, by changing the phase of a sampling signal at every frame and completing one frame of a horizontal interlacing scanning by a pluality of frames. CONSTITUTION:An original signal outputted from a television camera 51 is applied to a sampling circuit 52 and sampled with a sampling signal switched at every frame. This ampling signal is produced at a sampling signal generator 53. This sampling pulse is shifted by 180 deg. at every one frame. The sampled original signal is transmitted from an antenna 59 via a low pass filter 56, a synchronizing signal addition circuit 57 and a modulator 58. At the reception side, the transmitted signal is detected at a detector 62 and this output and the sampling signal generated at a sampling signal generating circuit 64 reproduce the original picture. |
