PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of period, by generating a stepwise sinusoidal wave having a quantized amplitude level in response to an output signal of an up-down counter. CONSTITUTION:An up-down command discriminating circuit 13 gives a control signal to the up-down counter 12 so as to generate a sinusoidal wave in the period T. Up-count is commanded for 0-T/4 and 3T/4-T, and down-count is commanded for T/4-3T/4. A signal commanding the amplitude at each time is generated from the up-down counter 12. This signal is given to a decoder circuit 14. The decoder circuit 14 generates a quantized voltage in proportional to the amplitude of the sinusoidal wave at each time by controlling a switch circuit 15. As a result, the stepwise sinusoidal wave in which the period is controlled with the counter accurately can be obtained. |
