<p>The ground working machine comprises a series or rotary double pronged cutting tools, each with a separate gear drive from a common power source. Adjacent tools are contra-rotating and are arranged along a common horizontal axis. The driven mechanisms are supported by long tubular framework parallel with the common plane of the gear axes, and carried on an arm inclined at about 8 deg. to the vertical. The cutting tool teeth are formed from hexagonal shanks with ground tips, the upper portions being inclined at about 24 deg. to the vertical.</p> |
