<p>The double wheel for a road vehicle has a disc (4) with an annular section (5) perpendicular to its rotational axis and having passages for studs (6) with retaining nuts (8) to hold the wheel to a brake drum (9). The passages are spaced around a central aperture allowing the positioning of the wheel on a shoulder on the drum. The wheel has a security lock for the fixing to the drum, with an axial protuberance near each stud-passage engaging into the annular section of the wheel disc, defining a thrust face to retain the disc. There can be a second thrust face on the disc.</p> |
