<p>The arrangement is intended for reducing the negative (i.e. downward) adhesive force ("stiction") exerted by the ground mass on a building element, such as a foundation pile, tunnel section, sewage pipe section etc., by applying a friction-reducing coating to the surface of that element. This coating is formed by two layers which have a low coefft. of friction relative to one another, e.g. two plastic (polyamide or more preferably polythene) sheets, or a plastic outer sheet over a lubricant layer. The covering may consist of two plastic sheets with a lubricant between them, pref. pre-mfd. in rolls for application on site.</p> |
