<p>The door lock includes a rotatable shaft (27) carrying a latch (11) on one end and having a notch (54) on the other end into which e.g a screwdriver can locate. By simultaneously pushing and turning the screwdriver the latch can be rotated through 180 degrees to adapt the lock to the way in which the door opens. The latch is subsequently returned to an operating position pref. by the spring (52). The plate (30) supports the remote end (27b) of the shaft and, guided by a fixed pivot (17) running in one of two parallel symmetrical slots (37,38) transfers movement of the door-handle to the shaft.</p> |
