<p>The pipe clip (1) fits over the pipe (2) and comprises a jaw (3) fabricated by folding a flat strip of metal to form the two jaws (3) symmetrically about a neck (4) and fixing flange (4a). A nut and bolt (6,7) pass through the neck and serve to tighten the jaws onto the pipe. A fixing bolt (5) passes through the hole in the flange (4a) after which the head (5a) is welded to the flange. The bolt may be a self tapping screw or a threaded fixing.</p> |
