The contactor contains a hollow plastics body formed by two half-cases. The symmetry plane of these half-cases contains the displacement plane of an insulating contact-holder fixed onto the moving armature of an electromagnet. The body contains a series of pairs of fixed contacts separated by parallel walls. The contact-holder has a series of parallel prismatic housings which each contain a mobile contact bridge which works in association with the fixed contacts. The opposite walls of these housings are made in a thermoplastic material and are connected by portions of material placed approx. in the symmetry plane. Outside this plane they are separated by grooves inside which the walls of the case enter.
