PURPOSE:To control the coating weight on galvanizing on one side, by providing a deflector roll on the outside of a plating chamber, leading out a plated steel strip on a down grade and injecting a gas in the position where the steel strip contacts with the roll. CONSTITUTION:A steel strip 5 carried out with galvanizing on one side is led out on a down grade by means of a deflector roll 6 provided on the outlet side on the outside of a plating chamber 2, and is moved upward. In the position where the strip 5 is in contact with the roll 6, a gas is injected from a nozzle 7 to control the coating weight. According to such method, the coating weight of the galvanizing on one side is controlled. A line speed is improved as well. |
