PURPOSE:To form an electrostatic latent image in the inside and to obtain a good copy, by laminating the first photoconductive layer sensitive to visible light and the second photoconductive layer sensitive to UV rays on a conductive layer, and inserting a UV absorbing layer between the 2 photoconductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The first photoconductive layer 12 of Se alloy or the like, an insulating layer 13, a UV absorbing layer 14 contg. a hydroquinone type compd. or the like, and the second photoconductive layer 15 of PVK or the like are laminated on a conductive layer 11 of aluminum or the like to form an electrophotographic receptor. Its surface is uniformly charged by corona discharge, and imagewise exposed to form an electrostatic latent image. This latent image is sinked from the surface to the layer 12 located in the inside of the photoreceptor by uniform irradiation of UV rays. At that time leakage of charge is prevented by the action of the layer 14 to form an electrostatic latent image of good quality in the inside. A good image of good reproducibility is obtained in the inside by processing this latent image. |
