PURPOSE:To provide a two-color ink transfer device in which recording unevenness is minimized and recording paper soiling is eliminated, by providing along the direction of recording paper travel a multi-stylus which forms an electrostatic latent image on recording paper and No.1 and No.2 ducts which recover ink mist. CONSTITUTION:Inks of different colors, red and black, for example, are put into No.1 and No.2 ink tanks 8a and 8b and then they are supplied to No.1 and No.2 ink-mist generators 1a and 1b. When a positive electrostatic latent image is formed on the surface of recording paper 11 by means of multi-stylus 18, red-color ink mist discharged from No.1 duct 5a is adsorbed to the latent image, and thereby red ink transfer is operated. When a negative electrostatic latent image is formed on the surface of recording paper 11 by means of multi-stylus 18, black ink mist discharged from No.2 duct 5b is adsorbed to the latent image, and thereby black ink transfer is operated. |
